Personal description

French, living in Chamonix – yes ,he’s a skier, but not the regular one! And this guy definitely proved that he can practice more than one element and style at one time!

Aurelien has evolved at the best levels of junior alpine skiing since he was a kid. When he was 15, he joined the French ski jumping team and won 2 titles as Champion de France and he participated in his first world cups. In search of new sensations, freedom and wild spaces - Aurelien started snowboarding - the fluidity of his snowboarding and his jumping skills led him to be chosen as the stunt double for the main actor in the feature film ”Snowboarder”. 

Back on skies a few years later, Aurelien has now dedicated himself to the freeride scene – still full of humility, but inhabited by a great mental force. 

And if that wasn’t enough, Aurelien has now engaged himself to offshore sailing as well, skippering a Transat 6.5 headed for a transatlantic solo expedition. Check out his website www.aurelienducroz.com
