For more than 130 years, athletes and explorers have trusted their lives to Helly Hansen clothing. Technically engineered and real-world tested, all Helly Hansen garments are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Should any garment’s key features or functions fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will, at our own discretion, repair it without charge or provide a replacement.

All Helly Hansen technical outerwear garments (HellyTech, HellyTech XP and Hellytech O2) and footwear are covered by 1 year warranty from purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear on the product.

Will Helly Hansen repair or replace the garment? Our first option is always to repair the garment. If it is not repairable, we will gladly replace it. Please understand we may be out of stock or no longer carry that particular product style or colour, and will do everything possible to replace the garment with the closest possible style.

Are rips and tears covered under the warranty? No, rips and tears in the fabric are not covered under warranty. Even though our products are manufactured to the highest possible standards, and are well taken care of by the owner, normal wear and tear as well as unforeseen accidents are unavoidable.

What is not covered? Helly Hansen’s warranty does not cover garments damaged due to an accident, improper care, negligence or normal wear and tear.

What is the warranty process? Please return your product to the retailer from which you originally purchased from. Please note that it is important that you have proof of purchase and the retailer should be able to handle the warranty process on your behalf. Please note that we are unable to replace products which have been purchased outside of Australia and New Zealand and that you should contact Helly Hansen Headquarters directly for these claims. Please ensure that your garments are washed prior to submitting for warranties. Soiled garments will be returned unprocessed or may delay the process with an additional surcharge.
